LA28, the non profit spearheading Los Angeles’ 2028 Olympics and Paralympics, has adopted a notable silence subsequent to a Daily Mail exposé detailing its chairperson Casey Wasserman’s alleged sexual liaisons with various female subordinates.

Among those purportedly entangled in these affairs is Patricia Feau, Wasserman’s erstwhile secretary and chief of staff, who served under him for seven-and-a-half years starting in 2011. Post the triumphant securing of the Olympics bid in 2017, Feau transitioned to LA28 in 2019, undertaking the role of VP, Host City Relations, where she was pivotal in contract negotiations, forging alliances, and leading communication teams.

Per the 2023 IRS tax filings from the 501(c)(3) nonprofit scrutinized by TheWrap, Feau accrued $350,017 in total remuneration in 2022, positioning her as LA28’s 17th highest-paid executive.

Feau’s elevated role and compensation at LA28 — where Wasserman presides over the board alongside notable members such as Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jessica Alba, and Katie Ledecky — has attracted intensified examination following the Daily Mail’s exposé, which meticulously chronicled the alleged extramarital dynamics.

Representatives for Wasserman, LA28, and NBC Sports declined to provide comments to TheWrap at the time of publication.

In conversation with the Daily Mail, Feau categorically repudiated the allegations of an affair with Wasserman.

“It is not true,” Feau asserted to the publication. “I did not have an affair with Casey Wasserman.”

She further elucidated that her transition to LA28 was motivated by her longstanding involvement in the city’s Olympics bid and her aspiration to represent her hometown as a native Angeleno.

“My decision to make the move was driven by my roots in Los Angeles; I was born and raised here, and I experienced the ’84 Olympics as a young girl,” Feau conveyed to the Daily Mail. “The Casey Wassermans and [former L.A. Mayor] Eric Garcettis of the world had vastly different experiences during the ’84 games compared to mine growing up in my neighborhood. For me, it was crucial to ensure that we have a genuine presence in communities typically overlooked by the Olympic Games. My relocation wasn’t due to any attempt by Casey to silence me or any of the speculations I’ve heard.”

One of the 11 anonymous informants cited by the Daily Mail’s report — which detailed Wasserman’s purported pattern of courting female employees for nearly two decades, including his former private jet attendant and current girlfriend, Jenny Chandler — claimed that Wasserman’s relationship with Feau was an “open secret” during her tenure.

“Everybody knew about it. People at the Olympics were aware. It wasn’t a secret,” the informant revealed. “He began seeing Jenny more often. I know he and Patricia had a significant fallout. Her heart was broken. She took several weeks off work to recover. She returned, moved out of her office, and transitioned to the Olympics, distancing herself from Casey. It ended before COVID.”

Chandler also referenced Wasserman’s affair with his secretary in a March 2021 email to his now-estranged wife, Laura Ziffren. In the email, she admitted to her own prolonged affair with Wasserman.

“He f–ked Christine multiple times. And had a relationship with Patricia, who still works for him, multiple times over the years,” Chandler disclosed in the email, published by the Daily Mail on Thursday.

The exposé’s sources also included acquaintances with direct knowledge of Wasserman’s alleged “pathological” sexual pursuits.

“He targets women,” one source stated. “He usually has a few at a time. He engages in love bombing. It evolves into sexting, a cyber affair. He makes them believe they’re the only one and that he’ll leave his wife.”

Six sources accused Wasserman of engaging in an affair with his assistant in 2005-2006, around the time of his daughter Stella’s birth. He ended the affair shortly after persuading her to leave his firm, but continued alleged affairs with assistants over the years, according to the Daily Mail.
