Ryan Reynolds upcoming flick ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ to hit cinemas on July, 26
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, one of Hollywood’s most cherished couples, have never graced the screen together, and the reason might surprise you.
In a recent Comicbook interview promoting his film “Deadpool and Wolverine” with Hugh Jackman, Reynolds humorously revealed why he hasn’t showcased his sizzling chemistry with Lively on the big screen.
“I can’t afford her fee,” he quipped.
The “If” actor elaborated, “In the old days, actors often worked together, spending time together on set. We had Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn… It would be wonderful; I’d love to work with Blake.”
Although Lively hasn’t appeared in any of Reynolds’ films, she has consistently supported and assisted him on set in various ways.
She thoughtfully contributed a ping-pong table to the production of “Deadpool 3” helping the cast unwind between scenes.
“Blake is the real reason these ping-pong photos came about,” he shared with Variety regarding the ping-pong photos he posted on Instagram in June.
To note, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who share four children, tied the knot on September 9, 2012.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” is slated to hit theaters on Friday, July 26.
